The Founding of j.j.postcards
Joerg Jaeggin has been collecting aviation postcards for some years when in 1988 he was feeling the lack of a general supplier for all the aviation postcards published around the world. There were some suppliers around but none of them supplied all the cards being published. Joerg Jaeggin decided to start his own business and very quickly he was able to offer the largest choice of aviation cards worldwide. In 1993 Christina Aeschbacher joined Joerg Jaeggin when he started a new job and had to reduce his work load within the business.

Expanding My Own Collection
To finish this short introduction of j.j.postcards I would like to mention that I am a very devoted collector of civil aviation postcards myself. I collect both civil airliners and airport postcards. For my collection I still need a lot of cards from the early times of civil aviation right after WW I to the early times of the jet age in the late 60s. I also buy collections to expand my own collection of postcards.
